Mapping San Francisco’s Natural Beauty

AN ART WORKSHOP

about–

Join me for an art workshop in the beautiful Botanical Gardens where we will explore the art of storytelling through illustration.

During an observational walk, we will hone in on the “art of noticing” and gather inspiration that can inform our art while deepening our understanding of the about the nature in our urban home. Afterwards, we will piece together our observations to create our own unique maps in the shape of San Francisco that highlight the city’s natural world and our personal experiences with it. Each participant will get a hanging frame for their final art piece.
